We started from scratch, making our own model of the human body. Surrounded by encyclopaedias of anatomy, we started modelling every bone, tendon, blood vessel and internal organ, all in 3D.
MARCH – MAY 2016
Bones: We started modelling bones from scratch! There are 126 bones in the appendicular skeleton and 52 bones in the torso. Time needed for modelling: 14 weeks.Read more
JUNE – AUGUST 2016
Skull: We started modeling skull! It was quite a challenge to model all bones with foramens. There are 28 bones in the skull (including facial bones and middle-ear bones). The face consists of 14 bones, the skull consists of 8 cranial bones, and the middle-ear consists of 3 paired bones. Time needed for modelling: 12 weeks.Read more
AUGUST – OCTOBER 2016
USER INTERFACE: The core structure of our interface has been finalized. We are using multiplatform engine Unity 3d. Time needed for programming: 15 weeks.
SEPTEMBER- DECEMBER 2016
Muscles & joints31/01/2017
MUSCLES & JOINTS: Modelling muscular system was a lot of fun. But no worries! Every muscle was created with accurate origin and insertion. Time needed for modelling: 18 weeks.
NOVEMBER – DECEMBER 2016
features – Hide, isolate, fade, colorize01/02/2017
The core functions of our interface has been finalized.
JANUARY – APRIL 2017
LANDMARKS: We have created a landmarks map for every single bone. Time needed for painting: 12 weeks.
To make sure that the underlying science is spot-on, we partnered up with the authors of Memorix Anatomy, a revolutionary book on human anatomy written by students.
APRIL – JUNE 2017
Texturing & coloring22/06/2017
TEXTYRE MAPS: To achieve a realistic look we gave each and every bone, muscle and joint a custom hand–painted texture. Time needed for painting: 16 weeks.
SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER 2017
Digestive and respiratory systems28/08/2017
Digestive and respiratory systems are ready. The only thing left is to paint the textures.

features – STYLES20/02/2018
Here we are finalizing environment styles for our app.
We want our application to be perfect. In this phase, our app will be thoroughly checked by a specified number of testers who correspond to our target audience.
We launch public beta app for testing.
ANATOMYKA APP 1.010/12/2018
The application will be released in stages. In the 1.0 release you can explore for FREE: all the app’s features and the skeletal system with descriptions, clinical notes, and all details of over 3000 parts, surfaces, and foramina. Learn about joints and muscles by trying our 5-day free version or subscribing. If our project is fully funded we plan to release all systems for free before the end of 2018.Read more

NEW FEATURES: Labels auto align when you add a new one Labels are hiding if the organ is out of screen Screen size improvements for larger resolutions Small bug fixes
ANATOMYKA APP 1.212/02/2019
NEW FEATURES: – INSERTION/ORIGIN – You can now select every muscle and display it together with connected bones with highlighted insertion and origin regions (I/O). Most of I/O contain detailed description. – INSERTION/ORIGIN MAP – We’ve mapped more than 1500 Insertion/Origin regions and painted them directly on every bone. IO map is now displayed with Insertion/Origin and once you make your selection you will see an isolated region with description and also related muscle (muscles are visible only to subscribers). COLORIZE YOUR ANATOMY WORLD! – In the muscle group and joints section you can colorize organs directly in the panel which will help you memorize and recognize them more effectively. Organs PIVOT – rotation of organs is now more effective. Now objects rotate around the center of the visible objects on screen- Phone UI – adjusted design for more effective work with the model Fixed small bugs in Parts and Surfaces Parts and surfaces now also contain Latin names Adjusted pins size and position Adjusted selection and colorize material Fixed organs names Even more accurate muscles to bones connection Fixed brief for structures in the hierarchy Selection material has now X-ray look and is visible through other organsRead more
